Brittany's Bridal Session, Fotsch Family Estate in Lake Norman
Photographer's notes - after eight years in weddings, i still feel the
spark of inspiration when working on our portrait sessions...there is
always the challenge to try something new, to explore different ideas and
to create something beautiful and unique for our clients. each shoot is a
collaboration, a creative conversation between the photographer and
subject.
my session with Brittany really took me back to my days up north in New
York, where i had been photographing portfolio work for modeling agencies.
her confidence and intuitive sense for what would make a striking image
carried us into dusk.
a colleague of mine happened to see the images of Brittany while visiting
our studio last week and asked if perhaps these bridal portraits were of
Rapunzel, and i answered, "no, this is our June bride, Brittany...she's
working on her Phd in biochemistry at U. California at San Fransisco."
