Allison & AveryWe just received word that one of our Indigo destination weddings with   Kamden & Jerry's Wedding, Charlotte Wedding PhotographersIt was just a normal day. Kamden and her family were out shopping and decided to go into Bed, Bath and Beyond. There Kamden saw something that caught her eye..his name was Jerry. He was a minor league baseball player who was working at Bed, Bath and Beyond during the off season. Kamden and her family left the store, but not too far down the road, Kamden made them turn around and go back. She got up enough nerve to go talk to Jerry and that was all she wrote.                 Sarah & Ryan's Wedding, Omni Hotel, Charlotte Wedding PhotographersSarah & Ryan got married at the Omni Hotel in Charlotte, NC. Sarah had mentioned that uptown is gorgeous all year long so that's why they chose this location. It was a great place to get married and Sarah said that Robin, the wedding coordinator at the Omni, was amazing. Ryan proposed to Sarah at University Lake, which was also where they had their first date.  Okay, this wasn't part of the wedding, but we had to post these images. We thought it was cute that Ryan is a dental technician and cleaned Sarah's teeth before the wedding. :D  The Beautiful bride..            "The Knot Best of Weddings 2008/2009 Pick"
The Savvy Bride!We had so much fun @ the launch party for The Savvy Bride held by Charlotte Arrangements the other week. The Savvy Bride will be a web based wedding resource that features the top professionals in our area. The site is due to go live later this spring. You'll be able to find pretty much anything you need in planning your wedding within one website! We'll be sure to let you know when it's officially up. Lindsey & Erik OzimekWe spent a little time with Lindsey & Erik Ozimek the other week and had some fun on the soccer field. Lindsey was on the national soccer team looking to rejoin the squad this summer. However, she had a set back after tearing her ACL. She is now recovering with the help from her husband/trainer, Erik, who co-owns Boom Room Soccer School. Lindsey is doing much better and hopes to play locally for the Charlotte Eagles. We were very impressed with the tricks she did for us on the soccer field! Lindsey & Erik are really cute together. They've been training together ever since they started dating and said that they cherish every second they get to spend with each other. The Boyd FamilyWe have known Eric & Kristin Boyd for a little more than two years and  Eric, originally from Delaware, and Kristen, originally from upstate New York, have been married for five crazy and amazing years. They first met in college at UNCC and the whirlwind tour sprang from that point forward. Eric proposed to Kristen on a cruise in the Bahamas. Kristin said "YES!" ... and they have been busy ever since! It was our privilege to photograph this great family in our studio at the end of January. Here is a small sampling of what we captured that day. Daughter Farris (3.5 years young) wants to be a fairy princess and a ballerina when she grows up. We think she is going to be an actress! Newest daughter Finley (3 weeks young) is a professional voice over artist and a professional sleeper. In their spare time, Eric and Kristin developed their own company called Reaching Quiet Designs. If you are interested in concrete/cast stone and/or beautiful woodwork designs for residential and commercial properties, these are the people to go to!
