Karen & Taylor Wedding Mosteller Mansion

Photographer's notes: We sure have had some crazy weather this summer in the Carolinas and all around the world. Karen and Taylor's wedding day was no exception. In fact, we were quite worried about how the day would unfold. That morning in Charlotte, the sky was dark and grey. As we prepared to travel to Hickory just after lunch, the sun came out and there was not a cloud in the sky. Not exactly a photographer's dream. As we approached the gorgeous wedding site, Mosteller Mansion, the sky was once again very menacing and the winds whipped 100 year old trees around like they were saplings. And then it poured. And poured sideways. This did not phase Karen and Taylor one bit. They were ready to get married no matter what. And what a beautiful wedding we witnessed! I am certain that when the clouds parted and the rain stopped the angels were singing.
