Sarah & Collin's E-sess, Charlotte, NC
photographer's notes - this shoot wraps up what has truly been the "year
of the E-Session" for us here at Indigo.
the portrait sessions give our clients an insight to what we mean when we
describe our shoots as having editorial/lifestyle aesthetic, where we try
to combine a natural feel to our images with the edgy texture of editorial
fashion.
for Sarah and Collin we began uptown near the Wells Fargo building, but
really, the location was a secondary consideration...what i was looking
for, as always, was the dramatic feel that late day light can bring to the
table.
we followed up with what is becoming one of my favorite locations, the
facade of the Bechtler Museum, where i have to admit i was carried by our
strikingly attractive couple.
the ice skating finale sort of speaks for itself...romance.

Stunning photos..they captured the love and excitement felt on that fun afternoon. Dad and I are so happy for you both!
Collin, you're so GQ.
I am loving the first picture (parisan chic) as well as Collin's close up! DB is right. Can't wait to see the rest of where these came from.
Magnificent photos! You guys look like a great couple.
