Melissa and Chad's E-sess, Charlotte, NC

photographer's notes - my first E-session since getting back from New York was with Melissa and Chad. we talked about using the hip, gritty side of Charlotte as a location for our opening set - naturally we gravitated to central avenue.

we always strive for some kind of visual connection between our clients and the setting for these sort of shoots and this was no exception, Melissa and Chad looked wonderfully natural - whether it was coffee at the Dish or an urgent embrace in the bookstore aisle.

we found a green spot near uptown to wrap our shoot. a shift into editorial fashion for some stunning portraits.
