Joanna & Stuart's Wedding, Mt. Gilead, NC

photographer's notes - this has been a really interesting year. in terms of our work, this is our busiest year since 2008...all of our lead photographers have been very active. technically we've also been exploring different things, trying to push ourselves further.

finally, what has been a real treat is all the varied locations we've had the pleasure of shooting in.

Joanna and Stuart were married in the little town of Mount Gilead. as someone who lived in NYC, i still always get completely charmed by places like this - i had alot of fun with the hero shots we did at dusk (lately, i'm all about shooting in twilight).

the image of Joanna in front of the church was inspired by Andrew Wyeth's painting, "Christina's World".
